Reinaldo Ladagga was born in Rosario in 1963, where he began his studies. He was then granted a doctorate at New York University. He is author of Estudio al estilo veneciano (A Study in the Venetian Style), an opera libretto, Literaturas indigentes y placeres bajos (Destitute Literature and Base Instincts), a book of literary criticism, as well as of a number of essays. He currently lives and teaches in the United States. La Euforia de Baltasar Brum is his first novel.
